Andrew Olwert, President of ATTN: L, is a graduate of Florida State University with a major in Risk Management and Insurance. He has over thirty years of business management and development experience having worked for major insurance companies, regulators, commercial insurance agencies and as an entrepreneur.
Mr. Olwert’s insurance company experience has given him a strong understanding of the basic fundamentals required to drive results by successfully integrating the claims, loss prevention, and underwriting disciplines. It also made him aware of how a bureaucratic approach to each of those disciplines can impair the effective use of resources and ultimately drive average to poor results. As an executive for two of the fastest growing insurance companies in the country, he honed his operational and leadership skills under fire and learned the importance of building a strong operational infrastructure that is portable and scalable.
His regulatory experience brought him a unique perspective to problems faced in the delivery of benefits within the workers’ compensation system. While managing examiners charged with trying to prevent litigation by resolving benefit disputes between injured workers, employers and carriers, he witnessed firsthand the intentional and unintentional breakdown in communication between the parties that ultimately increases the cost of the benefit delivery system.
As a producer for two commercial property and casualty agencies, Mr. Olwert gained valuable experience dealing with customers on the front line and learning how delivering exceptional service and value can be a true differentiator when selling against the competition with similar and sometimes more competitively priced products.
In 1995, Mr. Olwert founded Unisource Administrators where he was originally the only employee and built it into a highly successful and respected 40 million dollar enterprise consisting of a Third Party Claims Administration Company, a Managing General Agency and a Managed Care Company.
Mr. Olwert formed ATTN: L in 2010 to bring his passion for helping people and businesses, both within his community and nationally, and help them “Ascend To The Next Level”.
